EPISODE II FILMING INFO
Production started on this movie on June 27th, 2000 on sets in Sydney, Australia, scheduled for nine weeks. The production will next film for one month each in Italy (Naboo) in September, and then Tunisia (Tatooine) in October. The last segment of filming will be a week at Elstree Studios. After that, there will be nearly 18 months of postproduction, which will nearly take them right up to the day of release. (9/23/00) Filming wrapped on September 20th, 2000, way ahead of schedule. Now, post kicks in, and in March, 2001, Lucas and team will go back to the various locations for some "pick-up shots" (to fill in whatever holes Lucas detects while putting the film together). (4/12/01) Those pick-up shots at Ealing have wrapped.
